There are many different circumstances that can arise in life that make paying for a college education difficult. Whether it is struggling as a single mother or father, facing debts placed on a student through outside forces, or simply not having enough money, there are many groups that work to help alleviate the burden that can prevent a student—or potential student—from finding their educational outlet. Among the different circumstances that can derail life courses and educational pursuits is having a disabled parent. Therefore, there are groups and organizations that focus solely on providing scholarships for students with disabled parents. These scholarships can range in financial value. The goal of this program is to help those students who want to get to school be able to do so, yes, but it is also meant to help parents with disabilities focus their energies on their own lives instead of worrying about paying for an education for their child.
