Personal Finance Experience
Emily's experience in personal finance stemmed from her curiosity. In her early 20s—while in her first job out of college—she took an interest in what she could do with her money and what it could do for her.
She studied books, podcasts, and online courses, trying to learn as much as possible. While learning, Emily started doing this: opened a retirement account (and convinced friends to, as well), started budgeting, and thought about ways she could continue to learn, grow her money, and share this information with others.
Fast forward a few years, and Emily started her freelance writing business. Today, she works with personal finance platforms, educational sites, and financial coaches to help their audiences pursue a better financial future.
