Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Visual Arts Scholarship
One organization that is putting its money behind its motto is the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. This group has decided to create video scholarships for those that are pursuing a degree in the visual arts. This is one of the many scholarships that are given to young African-Americans each year by the group which promotes several different areas of study.
When it comes to the video scholarships, ten are awarded each year to students in amounts of fifteen-thousand dollars each. The CBC Visual Arts Scholarship is a recent award that was founded in 2006 and encourages the next generation of black artists to get behind the camera and pursue their dreams. Bridgestone America’s Teens Drive Smart Video Contest
Another way that individuals can earn money through video scholarships is with the Bridgestone America’s Teens Drive Smart Video Contest. This scholarship is given by the Bridgestone brand and offers individuals between the ages of sixteen and twenty-one the opportunity to earn money for school All of those who apply must be a United States citizen and they must be currently enrolled in either a qualifying high school or college in the United States.
They must also utilize their video talents by creating a video that speaks to ways to improve the driving habits of adolescents and young adults. All submissions must be under one-minute and length, posing an extra challenge, and the winners can earn an impressive ten to twenty-five thousand dollars for school. Gotchosen Video Scholarship
The Gotchosen Video Scholarship allows individuals who want to pursue a degree in videography or cinematography the opportunity to do just that through a funding source through their organization. That means that Gotchosen offers video scholarships to the tune of thousands of dollars for those who can put their talents into their application. The Gotchosen scholarship requires that individuals include a video submission in order to win a twenty-five-hundred-dollar grand prize scholarship.
