Paying for college is not an easy endeavor for most students. There is, of course, the cost of tuition and books—the essentials. But, there are also those unexpected expenses that can arise like room, board, food, and gas for transportation, not to mention the monies for socializing and other typical activities.
While this is a large endeavor for any individuals or family to undertake, having a twin can make the task even more problematic and troublesome as families must pay for two educations at the same time. Because many colleges and organizations know and understand that this cost can be prohibitive, there are several different scholarships for twins that are available to those that fit the criteria. The following outlines a few of these scholarships and the details needed to apply If you are a twin, then, consider applying to save yourself and, potentially, your sibling some extra money on school.
