The Asian Pacific Fund is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of those that are from the Asian Pacific region of the world or who are direct descendants of this bloodline. Among the different ways that they help individuals in this geographic region and ethnicity is through scholarships for Filipinos. The Asian Pacific Fund has several different scholarships available, including twelve different financial aid awards.

Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund
The Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund has been a source of scholarships for Filipinos over the years. These scholarships are given to individuals in the amount of five-thousand dollars. Sponsored by the family of Maria Banatao and Dado Banatao, there are five five-thousand dollar scholarships given each year.
All individuals must be of Asian Pacific descent and they must also be excellent students. Reserved for incoming freshmen only, all those who wish to apply must carry at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average and they must be majoring in an approved math or science related field.
