Those that are teaching in the nursing field in the state of Rhode Island can earn money toward their student debt via the Nurse Educators Loan Forgiveness Program. This program is sponsored by the RI student loan authority and offers monies for work and service commitments. Those that wish to apply must meet the eligibility requirements including teaching at an accredited Rhode Island institution of higher learning. Must have been hired after May 31st, 2012 and be licensed by all qualifying state teaching and nursing boards, without restriction.
