Law Loan Forgiveness Program
The PA IOLTA Loan Repayment Assistance Program helps individuals who are working in the legal field in Pennsylvania earn monies back for their law school loans. The amount of the loan forgiveness can vary but those who wish to apply must have educational debt that exceeds ten-percent of their annual salary. This salary must be under sixty-six thousand dollars a year as determined by the individuals AGI. Those that wish to apply must provide proof of their school loans, their debt, and their incomes. They must also be able to prove that they have all necessary licenses to practice law within the state and that said bar and other organizational certifications are in good standing.
Primary Care Loan Assistance and Repayment Program
The state of Pennsylvania offers individuals the chance to obtain funding to repay their educational loans. The Pennsylvania Primary Care Loan Repayment Program provides an opportunity for those primary care physicians in the state who have medical school debt the opportunity to earn up to one-hundred thousand dollars. Those that wish to apply must meet all requirements found here and must serve in an HPSA designated area.
The goal of this program is to ensure that individuals in these communities that often see a lack of care are taken care of and have access to primary care.
