Are you planning to study graphic design? Do you need money to help fund your studies? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you may want to check out the list of graphic design scholarships below to see if you qualify for some free college money!
Shutterfly Graphic Design Scholarship offers scholarships worth $10,000 to eligible students. In order to be eligible, students must be at least 18 year of age and provide proof that they are majoring in graphic design. In addition, students must have completed attended elementary, middle, and high schools within the Unites states. Students are required to write a brief essay about their choice of majors. The $10,000 award is broken down that $5,500 of the award goes to the student to defray the cost of their college education. The remaining $4,500 is divided among the winner’s elementary, middle, and high schools to help future generations of graphic designer’s pursue their goals. Film Design of Tomorrow Scholarship Competition offers various grants, one of which is the Graphic Designer of Tomorrow. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, students who have graduated high school, and students transferring colleges. This award emphasizes creativity and leadership skills. As such, one grand prize winner and three finalists will be chosen based on their thoughtfulness, creativity, promise, and presentation. HEEF Arts Scholarship Program provides two scholarships worth $2,000 to eligible students. This award is open to students in high school or current college students who attend a junior college. Iowa Scholarships for the Arts provides grants of up to $1,500 to students pursuing a degree in graphic design or visual arts. Students must be a senior in an Iowa high school with demonstrated artistic ability. Students who are awarded the grant must attend an Iowa college or university on a full-time basis. Outputlinks Communications Group Hal Morrow Memorial scholarship provides an award worth $1,000 to a student interested in studying graphic design or a related field. These awards are given to students who enroll full-time at a college or university and who study graphic design or a related field. Students must hold at least a 3.0 grade point average. George Snow Scholarship Fund provides multiple grants to students who graduated from a high school in North Broward County or Palm Beach County in Florida. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and must have demonstrated leadership skills in their school or community. Furthermore, students must plan to enroll in a college or university. Some special criteria apply to certain scholarships.
