Florida Student Loan Forgiveness for Nurses
The Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness allows nurses the chance to earn nearly sixteen thousand dollars in aid over a four year period. The goal of this program is to reward and encourage those that are working in a low income area to provide quality care to an underserved population.
Those that participate in this program must meet the minimum requirements, including:
- Having a license as an LPN, ARNP, or RN in Florida, without any restrictions
- Must have had and be able to prove that debt was incurred as a result of pursuit of a nursing degree
- All candidates must work full-time as a nurse in an area where the need is great, as deemed so by the state
