Its main program is the Oregon Bond Residential Loan Program, which uses tax-exempt bonds to fund low-cost, low-interest mortgage loans to eligible families looking to purchase their first home.

Federal First-Time Home Buyer Programs

- FHA Loans: FHA loans are insured by the Federal Housing Administration. They boast low interest rates and allow for credit scores as low as 500 to 580, depending on the size of your down payment. Only FHA-approved lenders can issue these loans.
