The College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show
Like many equestrian scholarships, there is often a competition involved in awarding prize monies. The College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show is no exception. This invitational takes place annually in Florida and in California. Applicants can join the competition by filling out an application and by paying twenty-five dollars for an application fee.
The competition is more than just a way to earn prize monies, of which there are thousands of dollars available for use at college and depending on the competitions in which the rider applies to participate. There is also the chance for colleges from all over the country to come and see the riders that they may wish to include on their collegiate equestrian teams.
Therefore, while there are singular equestrian scholarships available for those in the competition, there is a chance to earn much more toward a college degree. National Sportsmanship Award
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association is based on providing the resources and education that riders need in order to succeed in the sport. One of the ways that they do this is by providing help to those who may need financial assistance to pursue the sport in their own communities. There is a series of different scholarships available to those who finish in the top spot, with the organization giving nearly twenty-thousand dollars in scholarships each year.
These equestrian scholarships, however, are not given in a general way. That is to say that they are given through a series of different zones that cover a specified geographic region. Those that wish to apply and have a passion for riding should contact the zone administrator in their area to see how they can get involved and fight for one of the many equestrian scholarships available in their area.
