It also sells pet food and supplies, office and school supplies, kitchen and bathroom appliances, tableware, toys, sporting goods, and even flowers. But in order to earn your rewards, you do need to buy certain items.
A recent rewards promotion, through Nov. 5, 2018, offers cardmembers nine additional points per dollar spent on specific Kraft Heinz, General Mills, Unilever, and Pepsi products. Cardholders can earn four additional points per dollar spent on certain other products by General Mills, Seventh Generation, Reynolds, and Unilever products. This offer applies on top of the points you would already receive by using your American Express card for the purchase.
To redeem the offer, you need to log in to your Membership Rewards account and add the offer to your card. Once the offer is active, you simply place your order online at Boxed.com or through the Boxed app and use your eligible American Express card to pay for the purchase.
In order to qualify for the Amex offer with Boxed, you need to have an American Express credit card that is eligible for Membership Rewards. Prepaid cards, corporate American Express cards, and other travel-branded (Delta, Hilton Honors, and Starwood Preferred) American Express cards are exempt from this offer. In addition, only U.S. cardholders can redeem this offer.
There is no minimum purchase requirement for this offer, but you should be aware that you only get free shipping at Boxed if you are placing your first order over $19.98 or subsequent orders greater than $49. The offer only applies to orders from Boxed.com and the Boxed app, and Boxed Hotels purchases are not included in the offer.
In addition, Boxed might not ship to all areas. So purchases have to be delivered to an area that is serviced by Boxed in order to be eligible for the offer.
